Beginning June 27, 2026, unused SNAP, FITAP, and KCSP benefits will be removed from Louisiana EBT cards nine months after the benefits were issued, even if the card has been used during that period.
Beginning May 26, 2026, Louisiana SNAP recipients can use EBT cards only for purchases made in Louisiana and in approved ZIP codes adjacent to the Louisiana border in neighboring states. Purchases outside those areas are blocked unless the recipient requests temporary out-of-state access.
