Arkansas - SNAP restrictions on candy, soda, and other drinks took effect July 1
Arkansas began enforcing a SNAP nutrition waiver on July 1, 2026. SNAP benefits can no longer be used in Arkansas to buy soda, candy, fruit and vegetable drinks with less than 50% natural juice, and other restricted unhealthy beverages.
